Up and running in 3 steps

1
Define your layers
Edit any WooCommerce product → Configurator tab. Add layers (colour swatches, size selects, add-on checkboxes) and give each option a price and an optional preview image.
2
Customer configures
The product page shows the configurator: options compose a live image preview and the price updates instantly. Conditional rules show only the relevant choices.
3
Add to cart & checkout
The configured product goes through the normal WooCommerce cart. The price is recomputed on the server and the chosen options are saved on the order line item.

Built for every made-to-order product

One plugin, any configurable product. If a customer picks options that change the price, ConfigMate handles it.

Your site. Your data. No monthly fees.

SaaS configurator services charge every month and meter your orders. ConfigMate is a one-time purchase that runs entirely on your own WooCommerce site.

Everything built in

No add-ons needed. Every feature ships with the plugin, coded to WordPress coding standards.

Server-Validated Pricing
The configurator shows a live total for UX, but the authoritative unit price is always recomputed on the server from the stored config. Every option id is re-validated (IDOR-safe), so a tampered client can't fake the price.
Live Image Preview
Give an option a transparent overlay image and the product composes in real time — the customer sees exactly what they're configuring as they pick each option.
Swatches, Selects & Add-ons
Four layer types — colour swatches, dropdowns, radio groups and checkboxes — each option carrying its own price delta.
Conditional Logic
Show or hide a layer based on an earlier choice — e.g. only reveal "Engraving" when a premium finish is selected. Hidden options never count toward the price.
Add or Replace Pricing
Option prices can add to the product's base price, or fully replace it for true made-to-order builds. You choose per product.
Required Options
Mark layers as required and the Add to Cart button stays disabled until the customer has made every mandatory choice.
WooCommerce Native
Configured products flow through the normal WooCommerce cart and checkout. The chosen options are saved as readable meta on the order line item. HPOS-compatible.
REST Price Endpoint
A public, read-only price endpoint is the single source of truth — the same server-side calculator that prices the cart, so the displayed total always matches checkout.
Dark Mode, RTL & Mobile
Full prefers-color-scheme: dark support, dir="rtl" mirroring for Arabic/Hebrew, and a clean mobile-first responsive layout.
No Dependencies
No page builder, no React, no third-party services. The configurator is defined as a small JSON structure per product and renders with vanilla JS.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Configurable items are WooCommerce products and the configured item flows through the WooCommerce cart and checkout.
No. The configurator shows a live total for convenience, but the authoritative unit price is recomputed on the server from the product's stored configuration, and every selected option id is re-validated against it, at add-to-cart and again at order creation.
Give an option an image (a transparent PNG works best). When that option is chosen, ConfigMate overlays it on the product's base image, composing the configured look right in the browser.
